How do your rental rates work?
Daily rental rates are based on a 24-hour rental day starting at the time of pickup. The minimum charge is one day, plus mileage, if applicable. Mileage charges, if applicable, will be the number of miles driven as determined by the odometer readings at the beginning and end of the rental.
How old do I have to be to rent a car from Withnell Car Rental?
The renter must be at least 21 years of age.
What is your mileage policy?
Our rental vehicles are limited to a 200 mile per day policy. Any miles driven over the allotted miles will be charged at $0.50 per mile.
Where can I drive your vehicles?
Our rental vehicles are generally limited to Oregon and Washington. Travel to any other direct neighboring state such as Idaho, California, or Nevada may be permitted, but must be expressly authorized by an agent of Withnell Car Rental in advance.
What forms of payment does Withnell Car Rental accept?
We accept all major credit cards (American Express, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover), and bank issued debit cards. We do not accept checks (unless authorized by a Withnell Car Rental agent) as well as pre-paid debt cards or payroll cards. All rentals are subject to a security deposit.
What is the cancellation policy?
More then 24 hours: No charge
12 - 24 hours: $25 cancellation fee
Same day cancellation or no show: 1 days rental fees

What type of insurance is required to rent a vehicle?
Withnell requires carrying full coverage car insurance to cover you in the event of an accident. Withnell does offer, for an additional charge, various additional coverages that can help to minimize or possibly eliminate your financial responsibility in the event of damage to the vehicle. We recommend that you discuss your coverages with your insurance carrier and then take a look at the Damage Waiver page to determine your insurance needs.
What is the policy on smoking in a Withnell Car Rental?
Withnell Car Rental features a non-smoking fleet. This includes vaping, e-cigs and marijuana. Vehicles that indicate previous smoking activity should be brought to the attention of a Withnell Car Rental agent immediately. If we determine upon vehicle return that there is evidence of smoking activity the renter will be charged a $250.00 cleaning fee.
Is towing allowed?
Our vehicles are no longer available for towing. Due to excessive wear and tear on the vehicles, we are forced to put a moratorium on towing of any type with our trucks. We appreciate your understanding and will assist in any way possible to accommodate you.
Does Withnell Car Rental offer one-way rentals?
No, at this time we do not offer one-way rentals.
Does Withnell Car Rental offer (GPS, Child Seats, Chains, or etc)?
No, at this time we do not offer any additional equipment options.
